Transition days are challenging for all of us. The cab of the RV is often very loud from the V-10 engine which is right there. On the other hand it can also be very interesting, seeing parts of the country we would never see except for this trip. To help with the challenge we have decided to try and keep travel days to a 4 hour drive time. This can be slow going, but it does give us chance to relax and enjoy the trip. Also we like to put a stop in during the day to see something of interest. In this video we stopped at the White Sands National Park in New Mexico. We had lots of fun walking on the dunes, as did Chinsu. We spent the night in. Ruidoso NM in a charming motel and RV spot. We had a great hike in a nearby State park then it was onto SantaFe. This trip is so exciting. We have seen so many different aspects of our country, and met so many wonderful people. Wow, we have not seen it snow in years since living in the south. We feel like little kids enjoying playing in the snow. It’s great to hike in the snow too, we just have to wear the appropriate clothing. It’s really quite refreshing actually.
